Head of Sales | My Occ Health Record (MOHR) | Build the team, run the deals, grow the sales motion | Melbourne (Hybrid)
Profitable. Founder-led. Zero client churn.
Now it needs a sales leader.
MOHR gives every worker in a high-risk industry one health record. It covers pre-employment medicals, health surveillance, injury, claims, wellbeing and psychosocial risk, all in one place for one person.
It’s built for the industries where worker health carries the most risk: mining, resources, construction, utilities, transport and government.
The product is mature. The go-to-market is just getting started. The sales function is less than a year old, and the business got here on product strength.
That’s the gap you fill.
MOHR isn’t VC-backed. It’s profitable and self-funded, so there’s no board demanding a unrealistic outcomes and no quarter-end panic. The plan is to triple ARR over three years and build a sales team of across enterprise, government and partnerships within 12-18 months.
You’ll report to the CEO. A strong founder who has built and exited a 250-person health services business whose management team stayed together for close to a decade. He hires for the long haul. His model is simple: earn trust, then run it.
Why this role?
Senior base + super + variable - This is true enterprise, so experience matters and the package will be built around the right person.
Profitable, self-funded, and not one onboarded client has left.
A net-new leadership seat. You design the function instead of maintaining someone else’s.
A real headcount plan: from 2 to 6-8 in 12-18 months, across three lanes.
Category creation. Buyers aren’t comparing MOHR to an incumbent, so you get to define what good looks like.
A founder who has built, led and kept a leadership team before.
What you’ll actually do
Run the enterprise pipeline. There are few deals and each one goes deep. Early on, you’re in all of them.
Build business cases with buyers who don’t yet have a budget line for this, across H&S, HR, risk and medical.
Find and develop champions inside mining, utilities, construction, logistics and government.
Coach the current team through live deals and get the right people in the right seats.
Hire to 6-8 across enterprise, government and partnerships/ecosystem.
Install the deal machinery: qualification, coverage, segmentation, and a forecast MOHR can rely on.
Work closely with Customer Solutions from first meeting to implementation, with clear ownership of the sale.
Be in the office. Bring the team together. Become the person they bring problems to.
Who this suits
You don’t need to have been a CRO. What matters is that you’ve won big, slow, complicated deals and made the people around you better at winning them.
You’ve closed genuinely complex enterprise deals: multi-year, multi-stakeholder, big install. Not 500-seat mid-market.
You’ve sold to buyers who didn’t know they had the problem. You built the champion, then the business case, then the budget.
You coach. Formally or not, people have improved because they worked with you.
You’re hands-on by instinct. You’d rather be in the deal than reading a dashboard about it.
You’re structured. MEDDPICC or something like it, used properly and not just put on a slide.
You stay. Your CV shows multi-year runs, because deals here outlast short tenures.
You’re in Melbourne and actually want to be in the office: 3 days minimum, more in the early months.
Government, EHS, health tech or HR tech experience helps, but it isn’t essential. Patience, rigour and a coaching instinct matter more.
Why this is different
Most Head of Sales roles at this stage come with a funding clock and a target set to impress investors. This one comes with a profitable business, a product clients don’t leave, and a founder who measures the team rather than the quarter.
You aren’t here to scale a playbook. You’re writing it, in a category that doesn’t have one yet. That’s harder, and it’s also the kind of work people build careers on.
If you want to build something that lasts, and stay long enough to see it, let’s talk.
