The business solves a chronic, expensive problem for professional services firms, turning a widespread operational inefficiency into a predictable, automated revenue stream. The product works, and the numbers are not the kind you get from a curiosity purchase.
ARR grew roughly 5x in the last year. Net revenue retention sits above 120%. Account retention is 97.6%. NPS nearly tripled in the second half of last year. The client list includes some of the most recognised names in the sector. The company is pre-Series A, with its next funding round planned within the year.
The go-to-market motion is already producing measurable pipeline, with the focus on in-person events across APAC, the US and UK. Ecosystem referrals convert at close to 100%. Outbound was paused only because the founder ran out of hours, not because it stopped working.
What is missing is someone to own marketing and growth properly, in-house, instead of leaning on outsourced help and the founder's spare time. That someone builds the engine, runs the proven channels harder, switches the paused ones back on, and does all of it with AI as a force multiplier.

What you'll actually do
Own growth marketing end to end: strategy, channels, pipeline, and the systems underneath them.
Run the entire motion with AI as your force multiplier, so one person delivers like a much larger team. This is the core of the role, not a nice-to-have.
Own live events end to end, from on-the-ground capture through to the follow-up that turns attendees into pipeline.
Bring webinar and email marketing in-house and lift it beyond what outsourced help has delivered, using the company's own first-party data.
Switch outbound back on, and prove the channels that have not been built yet, across organic search and paid.
Feed and support a sales motion that already converts. Marketing here exists to create and accelerate pipeline, not to make noise.
Build the playbook as you go. You are the first dedicated growth hire, and what you build will scale with the team.
Who this suits
You do not need to have worked in this specific sector. What matters is that you can build a growth engine in a lean environment, with AI in your hands and less support than most people are used to.
You are genuinely AI-forward, at the build level. You already use AI to do the actual work, and you can show how. This is a deliberate bar, not a buzzword.
You are a true generalist who can run events, webinars, email, and content, and stand up a brand-new channel from scratch.
You think in systems and first-party data, not one-off campaigns.
You are motivated by ownership and upside, not the safety of a big team and a big brand behind you.
Exposure to marketing for professional services, finance, or B2B SaaS that sells to those buyers helps, provided it comes with real hands-on execution.
You are happy to work in the office four days a week in Sydney CBD, and to travel for events when it counts. This is a team that works in person and values it.
You are early enough in your career to grow fast into a bigger remit, and hungry enough to back yourself when things are still being built.
What success looks like
Months 1 to 3: embedded with the founder and the sales motion, the channels mapped, gaining an understanding of the existing agency processes and event motions, and your first AI-run experiments shipped.
Months 4 to 12: live events, webinars, content and email running in-house and outperforming previous efforts, with outbound added back in, and at least one new channel live and measured.
12 months in: a repeatable, largely AI-run growth engine feeding predictable pipeline, and you as the obvious person to lead growth as the team scales.
Beyond that: a team building underneath you on the systems you put in place, and a comp model that reflects what you have built.
